ELGIN EVENINGS PROGRAMME The Boathouse Youth works with children and young people between the ages of five and 17 from socio-economically deprived communities across Blackpool. They also operate a specialist programme for children with additional needs and disabilities. Their aim is to facilitate a safe space to improve mental wellbeing, promote positive behaviours, support educational growth and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Breaking the cycle of deprivation is key to enabling these young people to lead their best lives. With your support on Elgin Evenings throughout the years, a 5 kilometre charity ‘Trolley Dash’ along the prom and an annual fund raising dinner, we have raised close to £40,000 for this most worthy cause.
